Product Description
Product Introduction:
cooray Turning Insert Series
cooray Серия токарных вставок
Material advantages: Turning inserts are usually made of high-performance materials such as cemented carbide, ceramics, cubic boron nitride (CBN), etc. These materials have extremely high hardness. For example, the combination of tungsten carbide particles and binder phases such as cobalt in cemented carbide enables the insert to maintain a sharp cutting edge during high-speed cutting and resist the wear of the workpiece material.
Extended tool life: High hardness and wear resistance significantly extend the service life of turning inserts. When machining hard materials such as quenched steel and high-chromium cast iron, cemented carbide inserts or CBN inserts can withstand higher cutting forces and cutting temperatures, reducing the tool wear rate. This, in turn, decreases the frequency of tool replacement and improves production efficiency.
Detailed description:
Increased productivity: Coating technology is one of the important technologies in the production of modern lathe inserts. Application of one or more layers of high performance coating materials such as titanium nitride (TiN), titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN), etc. , on the surface of the insert allows to significantly increase the properties of the insert, such as hardness, wear resistance, lubrication and antioxidant properties. Adaptation to different working conditions: Different coating materials have different properties and can meet different processing requirements. For example, TiN coating has good hardness and wear resistance properties and is suitable for processing ordinary steels; TiAlN coating has better thermal stability and antioxidant properties at high temperatures and is suitable for high-speed cutting and processing of hard-to-work materials.
